Project EveryBODY

DIVERSITY | INCLUSION | ABILITY | COMMUNITY

Our Mission:  To provide and promote vehicles that highlight and showcase the talents of people of all abilities.

Our Goal:  To celebrate the achievements that people of all abilities have made and to advocate toward creating a thriving community that is diverse and inclusive

Project EveryBODY is a community collaboration of community and non-profit organizations.  The project consists of multiple events spread out over four months, focusing on the celebration and inclusion of people of all abilities.  This Project celebrates the achievements that people of diverse abilities have made and advocates for thriving communities that are both diverse and inclusive.

This year Project EveryBODY is proud to kick off the series with PEBemployment our annual employment fair during Disability Employment Month on Wednesday, September 27.  Returning this year PEBart returns this year for a night of film, and performing arts at the Roundhouse Arts and Community Centre on October 5.  Also returning this year, PEBcelebrates also returns to Vancouver this year on December 1.  It is the premier celebration to recognize the UN designated International day of Persons with Disabilities on December 1 at the Yaletown Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre.  Finally, PEB is once again proud to participate in and promote the Inclusion Art Show happening on October 3 and 4 at Heritage Hall in Vancouver.  More information about all these events can be found here.

Join us in celebrating these thriving communities that are diverse and inclusive!

Over four months, Project EveryBODY will celebrate the achievements that people of diverse abilities have made, and advocates for thriving communities that are both diverse and inclusive.

Project EveryBODY is a community collaboration of nonprofit societies including and led by Open Door Group.  The project consists of three PEB planned events and the participation in other great community events!

The wide range of abilities and personal artists’ perceptions which were shared were incredible.  They helped to break stereotypes and biases many of us have. Anonymous
